    Davide Cannarozzi

    Chief Executive Officer and Founder

    Trained as an industrial engineer in Turin, Italy, Davide holds an MBA from ESADE in and has executive training in Project Financing from London Business School. Davide founded GNE Finance, a private capital financing solutions provider, to transform home and building renovation industry. Prior to that Davide served as CFO of Enertika, an ESCO headquartered in Spain where he designed, promoted, implemented and managed a new business model in the energy sector.

    Eduard Puig MacLean

    Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder

    Trained as an industrial engineer in Barcelona, Spain, Eduard holds an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona and has executive training in Innovation Management from Escuela de Organización Industrial in Madrid, Spain. Prior to launching GNE Finance, Eduard founded Climate-Aligned Partners, a consulting firm located in Amsterdam to provide advisory services on Strategy and Financing to SMEs. Eduard worked for 6 years as a Corporate Development Manager at Enertika, an ESCO headquartered in Spain.

    Head of B2C Solutions

    Erica has 20 years' experience with global brands: Broadway and Disney. As the founder of the first multilingual Broadway ticketing platform, her e-commerce efforts and marketing collaborations with major shows have generated 22M+ USD in revenues, with 150K+ customers in 90+ countries. Since 2014, she advises in marketing, branding, e-commerce and strategic international development. Client sectors include technology (IoT), Energy-Efficiency, Finance, Travel, Entertainment, Fine Art & Advertising. Erica holds an MBA from ESADE and a B.A. in Sociology & Anthropology from Smith College.

    Irene Torres Marí

    Consultant, Digital Marketing and Customer Relations​

    Irene holds a Bachelor’s in Communications Science with a specialty in Journalism from the University of Ramon Llull in Barcelona. She is also earned a Técnico Superior in Ilustration at the Arts School Serra I Abella in Barcelona. Irene was a writer and photographer for the Red Cross in Catalunya prior to becoming a freelancer. Since, 2005, in addition to her work in illustration and design, Irene has 7 years of experience in multilingual customer relations and digital content creation with a company based in the U.S. Locally in Barcelona, she has also worked in customer relations with Barcelona’s El Prat Airport and with the Consortium of Libraries of Barcelona.

    Mart Jacobs

    Program Analyst

    Mart holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in public law from Hasselt University, after which she pursued an additional bilingual master’s degree in International Management from EADA Business School Barcelona. As an Analyst, she supports European project development and guides GNE Finance’s impact measurement efforts.

    Borja Gumuzio

    Program Manager

    Borja attended Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and is an industrial engineer by training. He has over 8 years of experience working on energy savings projects in a variety of sectors. Throughout his career, he collaborated with both public and private sectors on large-scale energy projects, while working for multinational Fortune 500 companies including SEAT, General Motors, Telefonica. Borja was instrumental in completing over 15M Euros in complex industrial projects, involving CHP, water conservation, and full building rehabilitation measures.

    Juan Alario

    Senior Advisor, Financial Instruments

    Juan holds a Master in Industrial Engineering degree from Polytechnic University of Barcelona; a post-graduate studies degree in Energy Economics from Grenoble University, a Doctorate in Economic Sciences from Grenoble University and a post-graduate in Business Management & Planning from a Polytechnic University of Madrid. Juan is a world-leading expert in Energy and Energy Policies and a former Director at the European Investment Bank where he designed and led the ELENA program.

    Alex Rothlin

    Senior Finance Advisor

    Alex has more than 20 years of experience in Structured Products & Alternative Investments across Europe, Japan, and Latin America. Prior to GNE Finance, he was Director for Energy Efficiency at Susi Partners AG in Zurich. Prior, he was head of asset-based financing at MainFirst Bank, Partner and Managing Director at Aurelius Capital Management, and worked at Bear Stearns in New York and London. He holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration from the University of St Gallen, Switzerland.

    Albert Arrey


    Financial Counsel

    Albert holds a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona. He is a co-founder of Arrey-Capdevila Law firm which is based in Olot, Spain. His specialties are in civil, urban, real estate, administrative, and business. From 1987 until 1991, Albert has served as a counsel for urban planning of the City Council of Olot. He joined GNE Finance in 2018 and provides legal advice on home renovation programs in Spain.

    Josette Rodríguez

    Operations Coordination

    Josette holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University Rafael Urdaneta, Venezuela, with additional diplomas in Project Management and Info Architecture. With more than 6 years of experience in the construction and renovation sectors, Josette applies the standards, methods, and processes established by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to her work. As GNE Finance's Operations Coordinator, Josette is responsible for the administrative, operational, and organizational day-to-day support of the entire team. In addition, Josette recently earned a diploma as an Administrative, accounting, financial, and labor assistant from Aranda Formación in Madrid, Spain.

    Mara Oprea

    Business Analyst

    Mara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Biology from York University, as well as Master’s degrees in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University and Sustainable Business Management from Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. Mara has worked in the solar industry as well as in the events industry to facilitate the international energy transition. At GNE Finance, Mara supports the development of EU projects which are centered on sustainable home renovations.

    Julien Thomas

    Consultant, IT Solutions

    Julien is an Engineer from France's Grande École INSA of Rennes. Julien holds a PhD in Computer and Information Security and has participated in and submitted multiple research papers to national and international research conferences. Since 2011, Julien has focused on IT advising, specializing in security as well as the development of web solutions for businesses in Europe and the U.S. Julien founded a company to develop projects for startups, such as Protektoid, which addressses device security and privacy reviews within the Android ecosystem.

    Patricio Cartagena

    Business Analyst

    Patricio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Adolfo Ibáñez Business School and a Master's in International Management (CEMS-MiM) from the same university. Patricio has worked in several industries including real estate, IT, and banking. At GNE Finance, Patricio works as an in-house consultant, contributing in fields such as strategy, market intelligence, and business development.

The Site provides the following services: This is an informative website mean to communicate GNE Finance’s ongoing business and consumer initiatives. (Services). You agree that by accessing the Site and/or Services, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Disclaimer/Limitation of Liability section, our liability to you for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to a total aggregate amount equal to the greater of (a) the sum of £5000 or (b) the amount paid, if any, by you to us for the Services/Site during the six (6) month period prior to any cause of action arising.

9.8  For business users only - If you are a business user, these Terms and Conditions, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English Law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.    

9.9  A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions.
